  My rating reflects my experience with this office with respect to billing and setting expectations. The office itself and the people there were great with my pet. The facilities are clean and comfortable. That said, at the time of my visit they were experiencing technical issues with their computer network and had no ability to process anything via computer. This created a series of issues with the handling of my bill. The doctor initially quoted me a ball park figure of x and indicated to the assistant that I was a new patient and so that there would be a discount for that. Due to the computer outage they would have to process my bill the following morning. When I got the call the next day, I was quoted a price of y which was lower than x. After hanging up I was called back within a couple of minutes and the assistant then said that it wouldn't be y or x but z dollars. Z was significantly higher than y and even x. The assistant apologized and said that the mix up was due to the outage. Now being that they new that we were new patients with 3 animals in the household and with what looked to be a need for an ongoing special diet requiring that a long term relationship would be fostered if all went well, to go back on one's agreement is not the way to set the tone for that relationship. Now I get that there were computer issues, but that was not something that was the fault of the client. A business to stick to its word and if it made a mistake, well it's better to eat the short term cost for long term gain than to disappoint a new customer. So I will be looking for another vet in my area.
